Once all this is done, it works perfectly, although I've only done it at 48k (which the boards are running at) and up to about 24 tracks. This can be a bit tricky if they are using a combination of analog inputs and digital stage snakes. Then the board operator has to configure the routing in the board so your feeds get the correct sources regardless of what they are doing for the live sound. Then Reaper can connect and understand (I assume PT can do the same).
